Team Leader / Supervisor Apprentice

Who is it for?

Should a candidate wish to appeal their assessment decision or other decision affecting the candidates, they must submit their appeal, in writing to the Policy and HR Director.  Their completed form must be emailed to the enquiries email address within 14 working days of being notified of the assessment outcome.   This would usually be the date given on the decision letter/e-mail.

If the appeal relates to another decision, the candidate must notify the Policy and HR Director as soon as is practical.  The Policy and HR Director has the discretion to consider and allow late requests where the candidate is able to demonstrate a good reason for the delay.

Stages of the Appeal Process

This will suit those individuals who are in their first role of supervisor, team leader or equivalent roles, including first line manager, shift manager. Roles will vary and LRN is happy to speak to apprentices, employers and training organisations to ensure our apprenticeship is ideally suited to the needs of its apprentices.

Content

The content for this Apprenticeship is extremely wide reaching but is indicative of the skills, knowledge and understanding required of a first line supervisor/team leader/manager. As an Apprentice, you can expect to be assessed (at end point assessment stage) on areas including – people management, building effective and constructive business relationships, communication, project management, leading teams, finance and operational management.

Entry requirements

This Apprenticeship is open to those aged 18 and over.  Whilst LRN’s entry requirements are flexible, we do strongly recommend that Apprentices have a minimum of 2 GCSE (grades A to C or 4 to 5). This is to ensure Apprentices can meet the assessment demand required of the standard.  Alternative qualifications will be considered on a case by case basis.

Duration

The expected duration for this apprenticeship is circa 18 months.
